So I’ve been settling in to really start writing the first album for The Bright Young Things…..Which is quite an experience. Its the first time I’ve really been at the point where I have to create one complete and finished piece of art.
I want it to express where Im coming from…..all the music I’ve been into for the past seven years, the sounds I’m loving, the place my head is at right now.

But really, I just want to write a really good pop album.

Anyway, its really making me think…..Bringing on some shoegazing as it were.

Which is where the photo above comes in. I found it the other day…cannot remember when I took it. Probably on the way home from College one day.

I think its so important to always take the time to just focus on who you are, where you are and where you came from.
So thats what I’ll be doing this week. Really, Im happy where I am now. And that is so amazing to be able to say that without a shred of doubt.
I mean yeah, things havent been perfect lately. Far from it actually.
But this year is going to be good. No matter how hard it is, its going to be good.

The trick is, to get through the next few months intact first…….
